Course contents:
Lesson 1:
• Vanilla/chocolate cake
• Buttercream piping techniques
Lesson 2:
• Orange & lemon cake
• Buttercream piped character cake
Lesson 3:
• Vanilla/ Chocolate roulade
• Buttercream Basket weave cake with piped roses and leaves
Lesson 4:
• Light fruit cake
• Fondant decorating techniques (borders/ruffles/beads/frills/cutouts/letters/bows/curtain work…)
Lesson 5:
• Coffee cake
• Royal icing piping methods (color flow/embroidery/delicate beadwork, brush embroidery)
Lesson 6 :
• Rainbow cake/cupcakes
• Flowers and leaves using Russian piping tips and royal icing piped flowers
Lesson 7 :
• carrot cake
• Sugar paste moulded flowers (7 types of flowers and 4 types of leaves with fillers)
Lesson 8:
• Date cake
• Fondant 3D cake carving and decorating.
Tool kit –
Piping tips , Russian tips, Spatulas, Scrapers ,Couplers, flower nail, Fondant smoother, measuring spoons, cake server/turn table and knife, flowers lifter, Fondant rolling pin, 65 pcs fondant cutters, fondant border cutters, fondant modelling tools, Tool caddy
• Samples of the baked cakes/practice cakes/dummies/stencils and printed recipes with notes will be distributed during each class.
